Southwark! My heart fluttered when an inquiry came through for a wedding celebration at Southwark. It’s a restaurant near and dear to my heart––it’s where I reconnected with my now-husband, and is the best meal in Philadelphia. I’ll stand by that. Owners Chris & Marina will treat ya right. It’s our go-to for anniversaries, celebrations, treat-yourself nights…I was there just last night celebrating a friend’s birthday. It’s THE spot. Get the gnocchi.

A last-minute COVID cancellation caused us to have to push Claire & Jacob’s celebration back a few weeks, but I was thankful to be available for Round 2 on Nov. 14, 2021. They had an intimate park ceremony with their closest and then took an autumnal walk over to Southwark. Highly recommend taking a city walk with your photographer. They’re some of my favorite photos!
