Top 10 Pics | Victoria & Ryan | Osteria

Osteria in Philly is one of our favorite venue recommendations for couples who want a casual, dinner-party-style setup for their wedding. It doesn’t take a heavy hand or huge floral budget to transform their glass-enclosed patio into a romantic scene.

The space is cozy, so we didn’t want to overwhelm the walkway with a traditional floral arch. Instead, we used two tall Harlow stands to frame their ceremony moment. Even though their ceremony was brief, that flower space served well to frame couple and family photos, and their cake was transitioned between the stands following the ceremony. Tables were sprinkled with bud vases, leaving plenty of room for all the tasty food that was headed out.

Their wedding was April 8, so they got the best of Spring flowers––fluffy ranunculus, frilly tulips and funky hellebore filled their palette of oranges and pinks.

Thank you Dearly Beloved Weddings, as always, for capturing it all so perfectly. Victoria and Ryan were so wonderful to work with, giving me all of the freedom and trust to design them something that we all loved.

Couple Testimonial

“I had nothing but a delightful experience working with South Stems florist for my wedding! Cara is so talented and a true artist. We had a few chats leading up to the wedding to go over what kind color pattern I wanted, types of flowers, vases etc. I knew that I could let her just do her thing and I would love the outcome regardless. Cara was very responsive in emails and texts, we couldn’t have asked for better.

I was in complete awe walking into our reception, the flowers were absolutely beautiful just as I knew they would be. South Stems arrived on time for setup and breakdown and delivered my bouquet and boutonnière to our hotel where we were getting ready. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing, our wedding day was very seamless thanks to South Stems!”
