Some of our favorite 2022 weddings this year were at Martha, a cozy little Kensington bar with an enclosed luscious little garden and patio area that we love to flower in. A perk of Martha when thinking through the lens of venue selection is the patio is partially covered overhead so you have some peace of mind when the weather is acting messy, which is was for this one.

Martha was a sentimental venue choice for MK and Kevin, who had their first date there. Additional adorable story: During peak pandemic times, Kevin turned their bedroom into a mini Martha and got their drinks and snacks delivered to celebrate their anniversary.

We added some light flower touches to the space for their Oct. 2 wedding in a color palette that leaned autumnal, but still had some bright and bold color choices. We were able to source flowers for this wedding 100% locally from growers in PA, NJ, and our very own growing space in Haddon Heights––dahlias, dahlias, dahlias! MK and Kevin also win the South Stems “Wedding Cake Topper of the Year” award that we just made up for turning their cats into a bride and groom (pic below!).
