This mid-October wedding took us back to one of our favorites, Martha, on what was the best weather day of the month. The back corner of Martha’s patio space has an overhang that we anticipated being fully covered in hops during this time of year. We carefully tucked in flowers all over the existing plants to make a super organic flower moment, as if the stems were growing right from the assorted pots and greenery already there. The pumpkins were a magical surprise we found happily growing away when we arrived for install.

Inside we added greenery to the overhead bar rail and had large elevated centerpieces down the center bar where food was served. Keeping the centerpieces elevated allowed for more counter space to maximize real-estate for the real priority of every wedding: snacks. Lots of bud vases and petite compote centerpieces filled indoor and outdoor tables to pull it all together, and we got to finally collaborate with No. 1 bakery crush New June on the cake.

Alex and Greg were a dream couple to work with from the start and were completely “do your thing” trusting of South Stems, which always results in our favorite work. We’re thrilled to have Greg’s sister’s wedding on the calendar for 2023 so we can cross paths again!
